Witchcraft In My Work & In Community

Art Therapist, Researcher, and Keeper of the Threshold

My work exists at the intersection of modern psychological science, mythic depth psychology, and earth-based magic. I specialize in helping individuals navigate their own "underworld" journeys, grief, trauma, and identity transitions, and emerge into their full, sovereign power.

The Mythic Lens: Walking with Persephone

My personal practice and clinical philosophy are deeply rooted in Greek mythology, guided by my patron goddess, Persephone. As both the Queen of the Underworld and the Goddess of Spring, Persephone embodies the ultimate psychological cycle: the necessary descent into the dark, hidden spaces of our psyche, and the triumphant return to growth and bloom.

In therapy, we often fear our shadows. But through a mythic lens, the underworld isn't a place of punishment; it is a realm of deep wisdom, reclamation, and transformation. I serve as a collaborative guide for those ready to walk through the dark and claim their crown.

Alchemy, Apothecary, Besoms, and Incantations

True craft does not hide behind polite thresholds or pristine glass jars; it lives in the space where marrow meets the moon, where we reclaim our bodies, our narratives, and our autonomy through the slow, somatic ritual of making. This is space dedicated to the tangible magic of the physical form: an intersection of flesh, bone, smoke, and intention.

Whether you are seeking to ground your nervous system, cross a threshold of personal transformation, or cast a protective boundary around your sanctuary, these tools are invitations to say yes to your own medicine.

Oil Potions & Moon-Infused Oils

Our bodies hold memories that language cannot always reach. These small-batch botanical oils are crafted as sensory anchors for somatic integration and emotional reclamation. Steeped under specific lunar phases and infused with wild-harvested herbs, roots, and resins, each potion is a liquid incantation. Use them as anointing oils for ritual work, intentional bodywork, or daily sensory grounding. They are a reminder that the skin is a sacred boundary, and what we apply to it can be both a balm for trauma and a spell for becoming.

Spell Jars: Vessels of Intention

A spell jar is a physical grimoire, a structured microcosm of your internal landscape. In these workshops and offerings, you will assemble raw elements (roots, salts, crystals, and whispered intentions) into a physical vessel that mirrors your psychological desires. This process externalizes your inner magic, transforming abstract hopes or the need for boundary-protection into a solid, tangible object you can hold in your hands. It is an act of somatic creation: layering, sealing, and capturing a personal truth so it can vibrate quietly on your altar.

Besoms & Altar Brooms

The threshold is a powerful thing, and who controls it matters. Our handmade Besoms and Altar Brooms are crafted from natural twigs, dried flora, and found elements, bound together as tools of energetic clearance and sovereign boundary-keeping. Far beyond simple decoration, a broom is a kinetic instrument used to sweep away lingering stagnation, protect the home, and prepare a sacred floor for dance, ritual, or rest. It is a fierce, beautiful boundary maker for your space, helping you command exactly what is allowed to cross into your world.

Process Painting: Portals Between Worlds

At the heart of my practice is expressive art therapy, specifically through the medium of process painting. In process painting, we completely let go of the product; we don't care about making "good" art. Instead, we focus entirely on the act of creation as a sacred, transformative experience. Often this involves a level of alchemy, and often my portals are for sale or can be commissioned and centered around a patron god/goddess/deity.

For me, this is where clinical art therapy and witchcraft become one and the same. When we paint, we are engaging in a magical act: bringing the unseen inner world into physical reality.

  • Painting as a Portal: I guide clients in painting "portals", visual thresholds on the canvas that act as energetic and psychological doorways.

  • The Clinical Purpose: Structurally, these portals allow us to safely externalize overwhelming emotions, contain difficult memories, and step into new mental states (like peace, boundaries, or empowerment).

  • The Magical Purpose: Spiritually, these paintings become living altars and talismans of your healing journey, anchoring your intentions into the physical world.

Grounded in Research, Inspired by Imagination

While my work is deeply imaginative and spiritual, my feet are firmly planted in clinical research. My academic focus centers on how expressive arts and narrative mythology activate neuroplasticity, regulate the nervous system, and provide a framework for meaning-making after trauma.

Every portal we paint, and every myth we explore, is backed by a rigorous understanding of psychological containment, somatic safety, and trauma-informed care.

An Ethical Note on My Space: My practice is entirely invitational, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+ affirming. You do not need to be an artist, nor do you need to practice witchcraft to work with me. I hold a sacred, non-judgmental space for whatever spiritual, secular, or creative path feels authentic to you.

Whether we are decoding a myth, parsing through clinical insights, or standing before a canvas ready to paint a doorway into your next chapter, I am here to walk the threshold with you.
